Deloitte National Leadership Conference

The Deloitte National Leadership Conference is a multi-day event for students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a keen interest in business/professional services. Students from several colleges and universities will be involved in workshops and activities geared towards bringing out their leadership, team-building, interpersonal and negotiation skills and potential. In addition, students will have numerous opportunities to network and interact with Deloitte professionals of all levels. We can guarantee that our conference will be one of the most exciting and rewarding learning experiences you will ever encounter outside of the classroom!

Rotational Internship

The Rotational intern will work 8 weeks in the Deloitte Audit and Tax functions on a rotational basis to gain the experience necessary to be a consultant. In addition, the intern will have the opportunity to shadow other functions.

Personal and Practice Development:
  • Desire to sit for the CPA after graduation take proactive career steps - set goals and career plans with advisor/career counselor 
  • Develop excellent professional oral and written communication skills 
  • Continually develop through our Deloitte Learning curriculum of eLearning modules and local and national training programs 
  • Support organizational and business line initiatives
  • Intended Majors and/or skills should include: Accounting and Information Systems,

We are trained to provide financial insight and clarity to counsel during the various stages of a business dispute, from case theory development and discovery to expert witness testimony.

Job responsibilities:
  • Perform initial analyses and provide summary of accounting, finance, economic issues in the context of business transactions 
  • Review documents to identify items relevant to an investigation or dispute consulting matter 
  • Assist with compiling, analyzing, and documenting facts for matters under investigation or in litigation 
  • Create financial models based on business issues or transactions being analyzed 
  • Assist with drafting reports and findings including the preparation of tables, exhibits, and charts 
  • Assist with researching technical and industry specific issues 
  • Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities 
  • Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management 
  • Research market issues and identify market opportunities 
  • Demonstrate an understanding of risk associated with various engagements 
  • Excellent professional oral and written communication skills in order to establish working relationships with client personnel.
